
Linda Plourde
Linda Plourde is the CEO/Executive Director of Bayberry, Inc., a distinguished non-profit agency
specializing in providing supported living services and residential options for individuals with
intellectual and developmental disabilities (I/DD). Linda's journey in the field of I/DD began in 1982 in
the state of Maine, where she served as QMRP/Program Director for Powell Memorial Center before
transitioning to the role of Administrator for OHI. With a commitment to making a meaningful impact,
Linda relocated to California, where she spent a cumulative 15 years working with Alta CA and North
Bay Regional Centers. During her tenure at the regional centers, Linda engaged in various roles,
including case management, early intervention, and supervision of case management and quality
assurance units.
In 2006, Linda assumed leadership at Bayberry, Inc., overseeing its operations and spearheading
initiatives to enhance the quality of life for individuals with I/DD. Under her guidance, Bayberry, Inc.
has become a beacon of support, collaborating with North Bay (Napa), Redwood Coast (Lakeport),
and Alta CA (Sacramento) Regional Centers, as well as Golden State Trust, to extend its services
beyond the California Regional Center System.
Linda's dedication to advocacy and leadership extends beyond her role at Bayberry, Inc. She served
on the Board of Directors for ANCOR (American Network of Community Options and Resources) from
October 2016 to October 2022, contributing her expertise to ANCOR's Finance, Governmental
Relations, and Grassroots Committees, as well as the Global Council. Additionally, Linda is an active
member of The Arc of CA and the US, playing a pivotal role in governmental relations work through
the Public Policy Committee and representing The Arc of CA within the Lanterman Coalition.
Recognized for her influence and expertise, Linda served a 3-year term on the CA Developmental
Services Task Force, focusing on System and Fiscal Reform and Accountability. She chairs the North
Bay Regional Center Legislative Advisory-Public Policy Committee and served as the vendor
representative to the North Bay Regional Center Board of Directors for 7 years, actively shaping
policies and advocating for the rights of individuals with disabilities. Additionally, Linda served on the
board of CSLN (CA Supported Living Network) for 6 years, contributing to its mission of supporting
individuals with developmental disabilities.
Linda’s educational background includes a Bachelor of Science Degree in Psychology and a Master
of Science Degree in Rehabilitation Counseling.
